These traditional prayers need understanding so that you can vocalise them with consciousness, because mechanical repetition has no power. Our Father is a very powerful prayer, transmitted by master Jesus and which in my view goes more or less like this:
“Our Father”
Father is the masculine principle, the force of action, the power of realisation that is in each and every one of us. He is the sacred masculine, who has the power to create, the power to generate life. It is he who gave us life.
“who art in heaven”
He is in heaven in the Anahata chakra, which is the heart chakra. He dwells in the temple of the heart. According to the Vedas, the Our Father who is in the heart chakra is the cosmic principle of creation, the Being, the eternal consciousness, indestructible, formless and omnipresent.
“Hallowed be thy name”
The name that is unpronounceable, the name that is unspoken, given its dimension of sacredness. That name which is not known in the material, for it is beyond it. This principle whose vibration we also represent with the pranava “om”.
“Thy kingdom come”
I ask him to come to our kingdom, for I feel weak to go to the higher realms. We are here spinning in the cycles of ignorance and all we have done is create more and more difficulties. Even my idea of individuality is a product of ignorance. So, Lord, I beg you: come to me. It is your move to come to me. Enlighten me. Pour your grace upon me. I know nothing. I know only your love. Then take my hand and lead me.
“Thy will be done”
I’ve been trying to work through it myself and look at what I’ve done. I rise a little bit, but soon I fall. Release me from this need of authorship. Free me from this need to prove at all costs that I know something. May I be a pure instrument of your holy will. May your holy will be accomplished.
“On earth as it is in heaven”
May it be on the material plane as it is on the astral and heavenly planes. May the divine nature be manifested here. May God awaken in everyone and everywhere.
“Give us this day our daily bread”
Manifest in the forms of Annapurna-Lakshmi, the Goddess of abundance and food that enlightens us. Bring balance and harmony into our material life. May I have the sustenance to live this experience that I have received from God to live.
“Forgive us our trespasses”
So many debts debts, so many karmas accumulated throughout many lifetimes because of my mistaken actions in search of happiness. Purify me.
“As we forgive those who trespass against us”.
Just as I am trying to forgive my debtors. How difficult it is to forgive the one who offends me. Oh, Lord, teach me compassion. May I truly treat the one who offends me as a master who is teaching me the power of compassion. May I be free from the fantasy that I have enemies. Because I know that the one who is sometimes directing violent energy in my direction, like ingratitude, or any mistreatment, is only a cry for help.
“And lead us not into temptation”
For the nature of the world is to tempt us, to trap us through the stimulus of the senses. May I be present, attentive to notice when suffering tries to grab me.
“But deliver us from evil”
I can already understand that I will only be free from evil when I stop fearing it, when I can accept it and understand it. May I be able to free myself from those cloaks that cover his light. May I manifest his truth. For his kingdom is the power and the glory forever and ever.
Amen, amen, amen
Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
Amen to the holy family. May we come into harmony with our family constellation from whence we came. We will only free ourselves from this plane when we are in harmony with our family. This is how you free yourself from the past and can be reborn in spirit. You can forget that you were born and free yourself from your personality. This happens when you can harmonize with the family within you. That is why we say those words to the perfect triangle, Jesus, Mary and Joseph: to the masculine, the feminine and what is born out of that sacred union.
So, that is my vision. When I use these sacred words of the Lord’s Prayer, which contain so many keys to the mystery of life, this is how I feel.
