“Seva — the act of serving — is karma yoga. What binds us to Divine Grace is action, but for action to connect us to Grace, it must become a prayer. You offer your deeds as an offering. Thus karma becomes permeated with bhakti — devotion. One can only truly serve when there is devotion. This teaching is present in Chapter 3 of the Bhagavad Gita.”
